Camp Jimtown is an exciting, unique,
affordable, and fully-licensed and insured child care facility. Located in Jamestown Elementary
School, our services are offered on Mon .thru Fri. from Noon to 6 p.m. for children ages
5-16. Children DO NOT NEED to be enrolled in the school to take advantage of
our
great program!
Camp Jimtown provides a healthy
snack, homework time, free play, learning projects, arts & crafts, sports,
music, outdoor education, and field trips, as well as leadership training
for teens. The program also works extensively with the community by
organizing family events, completing various odd jobs for Jamestown
residents, decorating the post office, gardening in the town parks, and

MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR, LAURA WILLIAMS:
After 7 glorious years of serving our sweet little commUNITY, Camp
Jimtown's after-school program will be closing on May 27, 2010. My
deepest thanks for all your support through the years as it has truly
made a difference for our mountain families and schools.
To ensure that both Jamestown and Gold Hill have after-school childcare
available next year and for years to come, I invite anyone who might be
interested in a UNIQUE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY to please contact me at

small mountain schools...

SPRING RUMMAGE & BAKE SALE!
Saturday, May 8th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
JimTown Hall in Jamestown, Colorado
BAKE SALE: Donations of individually-wrapped items and/or whole
cakes/pies will be gratefully accepted at the event or by calling the
number below for pickup arrangements. commUNITY BAKERS UNITE as everyone
enjoys your tasties!!! Gluten-Free and vegan goodies would be greatly
appreciated!
RUMMAGE SALE: Donations of items in GOOD CONDITION will be gratefully
accepted on Thursday, May 6th and Friday, May 7th from 3 to 8 p.m. in
Town Hall (or call for an appointment if you can't make these times).
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS IF NO ONE IS THERE TO RECEIVE THEM! We reserve
the right to refuse any item and can NOT accept large appliances, large
furniture, tires, mattresses, vehicles, hazardous waste, trash,
recycling, or anything that costs money to dispose of. Computers and
electronics will be returned to you if they do not sell. A bulletin
board will be available for you to post any items we can't accept and
leftover items will be donated to charity or area thrift stores.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for this enormous event! Please sign up on the
Town Hall doors or in the school lobby later this month or call the
number below.
All proceeds from this event will benefit mountain after-school programs
for next year in Jamestown and Gold Hill.
